Release Policy

We are dedicated to the health, care and treatment of our white homing pigeons.  To insure their well being and the success of your event we have set strict standards to each release.  Only well trained, well cared for white homing pigeons are used for release.  Our release coordinators are 100% reliable and on time for your special occasion.

Reservation: Is based on first come first serve basis with a 50% deposit to reserve and hold the date.

Payment:  We must receive full payment two weeks before the event date.  If we do not receive your full payment within this time, we can not hold your reservation and your deposit will be refunded.

Inclement Weather:   The safety of our birds is our first priority.  Our doves will not be released under the following conditions; thunder, lightning, heavy rain, high winds, hail, fog, extreme heat, snow or ice storms.  There will be no exceptions.  A complete refund will be issued if we determine in advanced of arrival that the weather conditions prohibit a safe release of the doves. A full refund will be given if weather conditions become adverse.   We will make every effort to make arrangements with you for indoor displays if the weather conditions to not allow a release.

Cancellation:  You will receive a complete refund if you cancel two weeks or more before the event.  Less than two weeks, the deposit will be non-refundable.

Disclosure:  Because they are live birds, we can not guarantee the doves will perform exactly as expected.  Pleasant Valley Wings of Love is not liable for any damages resulting directly or indirectly from the release or display of our birds.

Other:  We can provide a practice release with you four weeks before your event, if you would be interested.  Sometimes, this allows you to get an idea how the birds will respond.
We do not release our birds indoors, we do not release our birds at night.  The event must be two hours before sunset.  We do not ship our birds by mail for self-release.  Our birds will not be released beyond a range they are able to safely fly.  We will arrive a half hour before your event to set up displays, if necessary.
